Spout Springs WRF

Hall County, Georgia

Through a competitive bidding process, Lakeshore Engineering was awarded a $21M contract to expand Hall County's Spout Springs Water Reclamation Facility from 0.75 MGD to 1.6 MGD.

The work includes a new headworks, a new concrete tank (SBR 4), a post-equalization basin with pumping capability, replacement and installation of a new disk filtration system, new UV disinfection, new aerobic digesters, replacement of the drain pump station, a new plant water boosting system, and a new vacuum truck receiving station.

Lakeshore worked with Hall County to avoid lengthy shutdowns and risk by eliminating the need to bypass the pump. Plant operations have continued throughout, and we have prioritized upgrades to support plant staff. Many of these additions will match the proposed work on the Covington CMAR project, both in the equipment type and the concrete structures required.
